Sony/ATV South Africa Partners with Content Connect Africa to Provide Publishing Services to Songwriters

Sony/ATV Music Publishing South Africa and Content Connect Africa (CCA) have entered into a new strategic partnership.

The partnership will see Sony/ATV provide music publishing services to CCA’s roster of artists and composers from across the continent, as well as expand further publishing opportunities for these creatives.

In addition, the partnership will launch joint digital education workshops across the continent, which seeks to educate and empower composers and authors with the knowledge of protecting their copyrights, as well as highlighting and providing additional revenue opportunities for them to further develop their careers.

CCA is a content and music aggregator, distributor and production company that includes Content Connect International (Nigeria), CCG (Ghana) and CCA Uganda.

Sony/ATV South African songwriters include superstars like Hugh Masekela, Abdullah Ibrahim, Brenda Fassie, DJ Maphorisa, Samthing Soweto, E Kelly, Freshlyground, Mafikizolo, Mi Casa, Bongeziwe Mabandla, Beatenberg, Joyous Celebration, JR, D’Banj, Matthew Mole, Busiswa and Oskido.
