Sony/ATV promotes Jacob Fain to SVP A&R, Head of Research & Analytics

Sony/ATV Music Publishing has promoted Jacob Fain to SVP A&R, Head of Research & Analytics.

Based in the company’s New York head office, Fain moves up from his prior role as VP, A&R.

Alongside his senior role in Sony/ATV’s A&R team, he’s developed and run the publisher’s Research & Analytics department, which serves eight major offices around the world.

In his new position, Fain will continue to report to Danny Strick, Co-President, U.S.

Fain has been with Sony/ATV for the past 10 years, having joined as Manager of A&R in 2008 before being promoted to VP, A&R.

His signings have included Grammy winners The Chainsmokers, Leon Bridges, Of Monsters And Men, Chase Rice and rising hip-hop act Russ.
