Shawnae Corbett-Rice promoted to SVP Of Marketing for Warner Records

Shawnae Corbett-Rice has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Marketing for Warner Records.

Since joining the label in 2018, she has worked closely with artists such as Saweetie, Chika, Wale, NLE Choppa, Baby Tate, Andra Day, and more.

In her new post, Corbett-Rice will continue to oversee marketing campaigns focusing on artist development.

Based at Warner’s Downtown Los Angeles headquarters, she reports to recently appointed EVP of Marketing & Artist Development Dionnee Harper.

Corbett-Rice began her music business career at Def Jam South/Disturbing tha Peace Records.

She joined Universal Music Group in 2006, moving up the marketing ranks to become Senior Director of Marketing.

While at UMG, she worked closely with artists such as Ludacris, Rick Ross, Fabolous, Jadakiss, and others. Corbett-Rice holds a BA in Communications from Clark Atlanta University.

Elsewhere at Warner Records, Sean Stevens was recently promoted to Vice President, A&R and Head of Research & Analytics.
