Physical and digital independent record distributor SC Distribution has rebranded to Secretly Distribution, and opened new European offices in London.
With headquarters in Bloomington, Indiana, this adds to the firm’s growing number of satellite offices, which include LA, New York and Berlin.
As well as distributing Secretly Group labels Dead Oceans, Jagjaguwar, Secretly Canadian and Numero Group, Secretly Distribution’s roster includes 40 other labels, such as Captured Tracks, Merge, Constellation, Ghostly International and Awesome Tapes from Africa.
Secretly Distribution in London has hired Chris Cannon (formerly of Communion Records) as Head of International Sales and Steve Rose (formerly of [PIAS]) as International Project Manager.
A statement from the company said, ‘Our aim is to expand and solidify our ultimate goal for these labels: to create a truly global, streamlined and efficient operation.’
