SeatGeek launches ChatGPT integration, bringing ticket listings to OpenAI’s chatbot

SeatGeek has launched an integration with ChatGPT, letting fans search for and purchase event tickets directly through a conversation with OpenAI’s chatbot.

The company says it’s the first ticketing platform to bring both official primary tickets and resale listings inside ChatGPT through a single experience, according to an announcement on Tuesday (March 31).

Through the integration, users can open ChatGPT, add the SeatGeek app, and start asking questions in plain language such as asking for “the cheapest seats at an upcoming game”, “the best view for a concert”, or “family friendly options for a weekend show.”

The app pulls up real-time inventory from SeatGeek’s marketplace and lets users keep refining their search conversationally until they find what they want. When they’re ready to buy, they’re redirected to SeatGeek’s site to complete the transaction.

“Our focus is making sure our events surface wherever fans are asking about them, and that when they do, our partners’ tickets are front and center in the best possible buying experience.”

Russ D’Souza, SeatGeek

Russ D’Souza, Co-Founder and President of Supply at SeatGeek, said: “Fans no longer start their journey in one place — they’re asking questions across AI assistants, new search experiences, and tools that can act on their behalf.

“Our focus is making sure our events surface wherever fans are asking about them, and that when they do, our partners’ tickets are front and center in the best possible buying experience.”

For teams and venues that use SeatGeek’s ticketing infrastructure, the integration gets inventory in front of fans more quickly, according to SeatGeek.

The listings inside ChatGPT will include SeatGeek’s Deal Score ratings, view-from-seat imagery, and seat perks data, which are already available on its main platform.

“ChatGPT is where millions of fans are already asking questions about what to do and where to go – we want SeatGeek to be the answer when those questions turn to live events.”

Adam Waxman, SeatGeek

Adam Waxman, Product Engineer at SeatGeek, said: “This is part of our long-term strategy to lead the industry in AI-powered discovery. ChatGPT is where millions of fans are already asking questions about what to do and where to go – we want SeatGeek to be the answer when those questions turn to live events.”

For SeatGeek, the integration marks its latest, following its integration with Google‘s agent-based AI search experience in December 2025, making it one of the earliest ticketing platforms to have its event listings understood and acted on by Google’s AI systems.

In February 2026, the ticketing paltform launched an integration with Spotify, putting official primary ticket inventory in front of Spotify’s 751 million monthly active users. Spotify has already integrated with other ticketing platforms like Ticketmaster, Eventbrite, AXS, Bandsintown, Japan’s ZAIKO, as well as UK-headquartered ticketing platform Skiddle and Dutch event management platform Stager.

For ChatGPT, the SeatGeek partnership is the latest in a string of third-party integrations OpenAI has been building around its chatbot. The AI company launched its apps ecosystem in October 2025 with partners including SpotifyBooking.com, Canva, Coursera, Expedia, Figma and Zillow. Less than month ago, ChatGPT integrated with Apple’s music recognition tool Shazam to allow users to ‘Shazam’ songs directly on ChatGPT.
