Sandra Croft joins Downtown Music Services as Marketing Manager in the UK

Sandra Croft has joined the Downtown Music Services (DMS) UK marketing team as its Marketing Manager.

Chelsey Blow has also joined the company as its Client Services Coordinator.

DMS was launched in April 2021 as a subsidiary of Downtown Music Holdings, following a shift to focus exclusively on music services after Concord acquired the New York-based firm’s entire owned music rights catalog for $400 million.

The new hires within DMS’s UK operations represent a “broader expansion in the territory”, according to the company.

In her new role, Croft will engage local DSPs and provide strategic marketing support to the independent artists and creators on the Downtown brand.

Croft will report to Geoff Halliday, VP of Marketing, at Downtown Music Services.

Croft brings over 10 years’ experience in the UK music industry, most recently from DIY distributor CD Baby’s London team, where she held the role of Promotions & Artist Relations Representative, and oversaw marketing & DSP relationships.

Blow, meanwhile, was previously a Copyright Assistant at Sentric Music Group.

Blow will report to Daniel Miller, who was recently promoted to Director of Client Services.

The Downtown Music Services UK Team currently supports a distribution roster including Arlissa, Beren Olivia, Cassyette, The Vertex LTD, and a number of European artists on the roster including Matoma.

“These are two very talented professionals.”
