Samsung Pandora rival Milk hits Australia

Samsung is bringing its Pandora rival Milk Music to Australia, a year after it launched in the US.

A free radio streaming service available exclusively to Galaxy phone owners, Milk users can choose from 150 genre-based and curated radio stations.

Users can use an in-app wheel to “fine-tune” their radio stations by choosing nine different genres.

Yet not every Galaxy phone will be able to access the service in Oz.

Samsung says that Milk Music will be available for:

  • Galaxy S III, S4 and S5
  • Galaxy Note II, Note 3, Note 4 and Note Edge
  • Galaxy Tab 4 and Tab S
  • Galaxy Note Pro and Note 10.1 (2014 Edition)
  • Galaxy Gear S

The app can be downloaded via Google Play or the GALAXY Apps store.

It will take on Pandora in the region, which only remains available to users in the US, New Zealand and Australia.Music Business Worldwide
