Rita Ora signs global deal with Atlantic Records UK

Multiplatinum recording artist Rita Ora signed a worldwide recording contract with Atlantic Records UK.

The British-born artist signed with Roc Nation’s label in the US back in 2008 – a recording contract which finally came to an end in May this year when Ora settled with Jay Z’s company following a mutual lawsuit.

Interesting to note that Ora’s new deal is the first high profile artist signing to Warner from First Access EntertainmentOra manager Sarah Stennett’s JV with WMG owner Len Blavatnik.

Ora has only released one studio album in her career: 2012’s self-titled LP reached No.1 in the UK and went on to become a platinum seller.

She has also released three UK No.1 singles as a lead artist, and another two as a featured act.

Atlantic says that Ora, managed by Turn First’s Sarah Stennett, is now returning to the studio and working on new material for release later this year.

“Music is my first love and I am looking forward to getting my new songs released.”
