Independent publisher Reservoir has increased its growing presence in hip-hop by signing Young Thug (aka Jeffrey Williams) to a worldwide publishing deal.

The agreement includes rights to Young Thug’s entire hit catalog of works, including “Havana” with Camila Cabello, “Pick Up The Phone” with Travis Scott featuring Quavo, and “Best Friend,” plus his recently released singles “Anybody” featuring Nicki Minaj, “Now” featuring 21 Savage, and “Up” featuring Lil Uzi Vert, in addition to future compositions.

“Havana”, on which Young Thug is a co-writer and featured artist, topped the charts in over 20 territories worldwide, including the U.S. and UK where it held the No.1 spot for five weeks.

The song has been certified Platinum or multi-Platinum in over a dozen countries, racking up billions of streams globally.

In addition, Young Thug has 18 mixtapes and over 50 singles to his name as either the lead or a featured artist, earning over a dozen US Gold, Platinum, or multi-Platinum certifications.

His mixtape, Slime Season 3, and collaborative project with Future, Super Slimey, both went to #1 on the US Billboard Rap chart, while the latter also claimed the top spot on the R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart.

Furthermore, Young Thug has collaborated with the likes of Drake, Calvin Harris, Kanye West, Chance the Rapper, Ariana Grande, and 2 Chainz.

“Young Thug is an envelope pusher, both musically and stylistically,” said Reservoir SVP of A&R and Catalog Development Faith Newman, who brought Young Thug to the Reservoir roster.

“I’ve been a fan of his for years. He’s a truly unique artist in every way and we’re excited to partner with him as his career continues to evolve.”

“Thanks to Reservoir for welcoming me to the family,” commented Young Thug. “I appreciate their support of my career and their drive to succeed. I’m looking forward to everything we will accomplish in the future.”Music Business Worldwide
