Republic Records hires brand marketing expert Nick Pacelli

Recently-appointed Republic Group President Charlie Walk has announced his first big appointment, with Nick Pacelli becoming SVP of Strategic Marketing & Partnerships at Republic Records.

Pacelli’s background as a brand marketing expert will be put to good use at the Universal-owned label: Walk indicates that his new recruit is expected to increase brand partnership opportunities for the Republic roster, improving this potentially lucrative income stream for the business.

Prior to his appointment at Republic, Pacelli worked as the Executive Director of Entertainment at ad agency Translation, which was founded by former Interscope/Geffen/A&M exec Steve Stoute.

At Translation, Pacelli curated music campaigns for American Eagle and Sprite, as well as working on Budweiser’s Made In America Music Festival.
