Bamboo Artists appointed Rehan Manickam as Director of A&R, US, who will be based in Los Angeles and oversee artist signings, development pipelines, and cross-territory.
The move follows earlier US hires, including General Manager Nils Gums, Publishing A&R Christina Chung, and A&R Manager Kareem Yafi, who collectively laid the foundation for the company’s growing presence in North America.
Manickam brings extensive experience across artist management, A&R, and audio engineering.
Before joining Bamboo, he held A&R positions at LEGION Management and Anomaly Publishing, working with Grammy-winning and Billboard-charting artists such as Nija Charles, Jack Rochon, and LU Kala.

Commenting on his appointment, Manickam said: “The industry’s obsessed with velocity and volume, not vision.
“At Bamboo, my focus is returning to real A&R: instinct, curation, and systemic artist development that outlasts the algorithm.”
