The Recording Academy will hold its Grammy House pop-up experience at the Great Pyramids of Giza in Egypt in October 2026.

The plan marks the first international edition of the multi-day immersive music industry event.

Grammy House Giza will bring together artists, producers, songwriters and industry executives for live performances, panel discussions and collaborative sessions at the Egyptian site.

The Academy has previously held Grammy House events in Los Angeles and New York but hasn’t taken the concept outside the US until now.

A Grammy House LA experience is scheduled for January 28-31, 2026. The Recording Academy hosted its first-ever Grammy House NYC in June.

“Grammy House Giza represents the spirit of the Recording Academy’s vision to amplify music people worldwide and create meaningful gathering places for our entire music community.”

Harvey Mason jr., CEO of the Recording Academy, said: “It is a thrill to expand the Grammy House experience globally, and to see it come to life at one of the world’s most iconic locations.”

“Grammy House Giza represents the spirit of the Recording Academy’s vision to amplify music people worldwide and create meaningful gathering places for our entire music community. Next year’s event will be a beacon of collaboration, discovery and inspiration, and will continue to connect us to the creators, innovators, and fans who are shifting and shaping culture.”

The Recording Academy displayed its Grammy House logo with the Great Pyramid in the background during the reveal. Representatives from Taitan Capital Japan and Global Entertainment Holdings attended the event. Those companies will serve as the Academy’s partners for staging the 2026 gathering.

The Egypt expansion follows the Recording Academy’s 2024 announcement of plans to establish Grammy House locations in multiple international markets.

At the time, the Recording Academy said it had struck partnerships with Ministries of Cultures and key stakeholders across the Middle East and Africa for its planned expansion. The organization didn’t provide a timeline for additional launches.

The Recording Academy is set to host a benefit gala on January 30, 2026, to award Mariah Carey with the 2026 Person of the Year award. The event will be held at the Los Angeles Convention Center, two days before the 2026 Grammy Awards ceremony at Crypto.com Arena.
