The exec leaves behind 12 years at Warner Music France where he was Executive Vice President.
News arrives soon after the company, which specializes in high definition streaming and downloads, told MBW it would consider its very own IPO over the next two years.
Before that, Miossec will be tasked with launching the service in the US market, which is scheduled for summer of this year.
Qobuz has recently instructed KPMG to handle its third round of fundraising, with a plan to close investment by the end of June.
