The two categories recognise excellence in domestic UK A&R across two sets of companies, with each defined by a threshold based on the size of their copyright library.
BMG, Kobalt, Sony/ATV, Universal Music Publishing and Warner/Chappell are fighting it out in one category, while the other Publisher Of The Year gong will go to one of Bucks Music, Downtown Music Publishing, Spirit B-Unique, Good Soldier Songs, Imagem Music UK and Stellar Songs.
The awards will recognise the best music publishing team involved in active A&R across a number of specific projects over the past 12 months – judged on critical, commercial and creative success.
“The ability to nurture creative talent, to enable it to reach its full potential, is a skill that affords itself to a special few.”
