Pam Schoenfeld appointed SVP, Chief Legal Officer at BMI

US PRO Broadcast Music, Inc. (BMI) has appointed Pam Schoenfeld as Senior Vice President and Chief Legal Officer.

Schoenfeld will report to BMI President and CEO Mike O’Neill and will be based in New York.

She succeeds Stuart Rosen, who will remain with the organization as SVP, Senior Legal Advisor in a consulting capacity until his planned retirement on June 30, 2026.

In her new role, Schoenfeld will oversee BMI’s legal strategy and operations, leading teams specializing in music licensing, product strategy, and complex commercial transactions across the music and technology sectors.

“Pam’s extensive legal expertise and industry insight make her an invaluable asset to BMI and our music creators,” said O’Neill.

“Her leadership will help strengthen BMI’s mission to protect and support songwriters, composers, and publishers, as well as the advocacy work we do on their behalf.”

Schoenfeld joins BMI from TouchTunes Music Company, where she served as General Counsel.

Previously, she was Chief Legal Officer at talent acquisition technology company Radancy and held senior legal roles at DoubleClick/Google, supporting digital platforms, the commercialization of complex technology solutions, and M&A initiatives.

Earlier in her career, she practiced law at Davis Polk and Paul, Weiss, advising companies on corporate and other transactional matters.

Schoenfeld earned a BS from Boston University and a JD from Fordham University School of Law.


Schoenfeld’s appointment comes a few days after Todd Horvath was named President and Chief Operating Officer at BMI, and two months after the organization announced a series of promotions within its Creative team.Music Business Worldwide
