ONErpm launches Digital Strategy Department, led by Casey Childers

Nashville-headquartered distribution and services company ONErpm has launched a new  Digital Strategy Department.

The company says the new department will offer artists “a one-on-one social media strategy in order to guide them on the best ways to amplify their message and obtain new ways to engage with fans and increase monetization”.

Casey Childers, a veteran in the business and a long-time employee at ONErpm, has been promoted to lead the Digital Strategy department.

Located in Nashville, Childers was most recently Senior Project Manager where she was the central marketing strategist for artists that include Chri$tian Gate$, Jordi, PLVTINUM, Taylor Acorn, Elohim, and Against the Current.

She will report to ONErpm’s Head of US Marketing Jenna LoMonaco.

Founded by CEO Emmanuel Zunz, Nashville-headquartered ONErpm launched in 2010 with its distribution business initially targeting Brazil as its priority market.

As explained by MBW last July in an interview with Zunz, ONErpm has since evolved from its DIY distribution beginnings. It still runs a DIY offering, but also invests in a smaller pool of artists, like a label would (similar to the Believe model).

Some artists (those within what ONErpm calls its ‘Taking Off’ tier) are paid advances and given in-house marketing/PR/playlisting support to accelerate their careers; others (‘Next Level’) might even share copyright ownership with ONErpm, and receive a more blockbuster level of investment.

ONErpm says that its Digital Strategy team ensures “artists are reaching their greatest potential”. According to the company, in 2022, it executed a trial run for 15 targeted artists across various genres to grow their YouTube revenue “based on best practices and artist participation”.

The company claims that at the end of the three-month “experiment”, all artists who completed the program saw a 100% increase in their Youtube revenue.

“Our goal is to be able to provide the help artists need to grow their social footprint in a way that is true and organic to them.”

“Our goal is to be able to provide the help artists need to grow their social footprint in a way that is true and organic to them,” said Jenna LoMonaco, Head of US Marketing.

“With Casey and the Digital Strategy team’s work, we can now provide hands-on help with social growth, engagement, and new forms of revenue. We aim to continue to not only provide transparent and innovative technology to ONErpm’s artists but also focus on true Artist Development by a team of dedicated experts.”

In February, ONErpm started offering brand partnership opportunities to its artists, which it said will add both marketing and revenue value to its clients.

To help drive the new initiative, the company hired branding and marketing expert Erin Dunleavy as Head of Branding.

In October ONErpm launched a new proprietary marketing campaign technology for its customers called ‘Amplifier’, which the company claims, provides “on-demand information and transparency” regarding its clients’ marketing campaigns.

The tech also displays info on associated costs executed by ONErpm’s marketing and promotional teams worldwide.

In August, the company launched a new publishing admin service, called ONE Publishing, which ONErpm said will “allow songwriters and publishers (copyright owners) to administer catalogs and collect publishing royalties from around the world in an easy and transparent way”.Music Business Worldwide
