NEON16 has signed two prominent Latin American producers, Faraon and Distobal, to its publishing division.

From Puerto Rico, Faraon’s credits include hits for Bad Bunny, Arcangel, Natti Natasha and Anuel AA.

Perhaps most notably, he has been a key creative collaborator in the rise of Myke Towers, producing hit tracks such as LaLa, Diosa, and Pareja del Año (with Sebastian Yatra).

Chilean hitmaker Distobal has worked with an array of top artists from Chile and Argentina, including Pablo Chill-E, Duki, Katteyes and Jairo Vera.

Faraon said: “My greatest motivation is to bring all the talent I see in this upcoming generation, as I was seen 10 years ago. Throughout my time with NEON16, they’ve been committed to working with me on that mission and my growth as a music producer.”

Distobal said: “Since I started making music, I have always wanted people to connect with my sound, create great songs, and, above all, leave a mark.

“Signing with NEON16 is opening new doors and opportunities in my career, in which I’m sure we’ll accomplish amazing things together.”

“Signing El Faraon and Distobal is not just a business move, it’s a declaration of our belief in the power of raw talent and innovative music.”

Meanwhile, NEON16’s parent company, NTERTAIN, having acquired The Official Latino Film Festival earlier this month, and announcing that it will be relaunched as the NVISION Latino Film & Music Festival in October, has now revealed details of the selection committee that will drive the festival’s content.

It comprises: Anthony Ramos (actor), Lynette Coll (film producer), Leslie Grace (actor) Jairo Alvardo (film producer) and Santiago Zapata (Head of Film & TV at NTERTAIN Studios).

The NVISION Latino Film & Music Festival will take place at the Palm Springs Museum from October 10-12.

The wider NTERTAIN company is also comprised of NTERTAIN Studios, and culture marketing agency AM16, which was launched following the acquisition of ARRO MEDIA in June last year.
