Music industry veteran Rob Gross joins The Syndicate as SVP, Label Services

Entertainment marketing agency The Syndicate has hired music industry veteran Rob Gross as SVP, Label Services.

In the newly created role, Gross will offer full-scale project management for album releases and sales for all pillars of the company’s services in radio, marketing, and PR.

Over nearly 30 years, Gross has worked at companies including Universal Music Group, Fontana, INgrooves, Dine Alone Records, Interscope Records, BMG, and most recently as a Partner at Shark Attack, out of Los Angeles.

Gross has been involved in running global marketing campaigns with The Rolling Stones (2016’s Grammy award-winning Blue & Lonesome), Run The Jewels, Carly Rae Jepsen, Vanessa Carlton, Hollywood Undead, K.Flay, and many more.

He’s also worked on career development with artists such as The Struts, BRONCHO, Billy Raffoul, Nightly, Goodbye June, and JJ Wilde.

Gross will be bringing over several of his current clients, which include Warner/Rhino Records (Black Sabbath, Dio, Pantera, Faith No More, Mr. Bungle, Roadrunner Records deep catalog) & Canadian indie powerhouse Dine Alone Records (Sparta, NOBRO, The Dirty Nil, Alexisonfire).

Founded in 1998 as an independent college radio promotion company, The Syndicate’s services include strategic communications, experiential events, and radio promotion, as well as digital, social, grassroots.

The Weehawken, NJ-based organization also has offices in Los Angeles.
