Molly McLachlan promoted to Executive Vice President of Global Marketing at 10K Projects

Molly McLachlan has been promoted to Executive Vice President of Global Marketing at 10K Projects.

In her new role, McLachlan will oversee global marketing for the label and its group of artists.

During McLachlan’s tenure in international, says the label, 10K Projects has seen a nearly 200% increase in streams outside of the United States, and achieved its first No.1 One single in the UK with Internet Money’s Lemonade.

10K artist iann dior also became one of the most internationally streamed artists on its roster.

McLachlan has been spearheading the US introduction of the UK rapper and two-time BRIT nominee Aitch, who is due to release his first album this year.

She was also key to the international introduction of salem ilese, who charted in multiple key markets outside the US with her single Mad At Disney, says 10K.

 

McLachlan was one of the first employees at 10K Projects, having been identified by the label’s CEO Elliot Grainge early in its history.

10K Projects was launched in 2017 by Elliot Grainge, and is the label that helped launch the careers of Trippie Redd, Internet Money, and Surfaces.

The label recently named its Co-Presidents in Homemade Projects founders Zach Friedman and Tony Talamo, who will both oversee the day-to-day operations of the label, including A&R, marketing, publicity, and creative.
