Modestep to self-release new album via INgrooves

London-based electronic rock act Modestep will release their next album, slated for the spring, on their own label via INgrooves’ artist services division, INresidence.

Working in partnership with the band’s management Raw Power, INresidence will take care of product management and promotion for the second album of Modestep’s career, while its sister company at INgrooves will handle distribution.

“2015 is shaping up to be a big year for the band,” said Modestep, “We are looking forward to working with INgrooves to leverage their expertise and the rich array of resources they bring to our creative vision.”

Modestep was formed by brothers Josh and Tony Friend in 2010.

The band has performed at festivals such as Coachella, T in the Park, and Ultra Music Festival and toured the World on the back of their first album, Evolution Theory, which claimed the top spot on the UK dance chart after its 2013 release on A&M Records.

Their new album will be their first on their own label Max Records with INgrooves.

“Modestep is without a doubt one of the most exciting bands in the world,” said Alex Branson, SVP, INgrooves International. “It is an honour to be asked to join their groundbreaking team, and we look forward to supporting the band and developing various campaigns to push their career to new heights.”

In support of the new album, Modestep will be kicking off an extensive tour in 2015 with a series of intimate UK shows, an mainstage festival circuit, followed by their global headline tour, with specific dates to be announced soon.
