Ministry Of Sound’s Soapbox merges with 360 Agency

Sydney-based talent agency Soapbox Artists has merged with Melbourne’s 360 Agency – a move which will see the two companies combine to jointly represent some of the biggest DJs and producers in Australia.

Under the umbrella of Soapbox Agency, the business will represent the likes of Timmy Trumpet, Uberjak’d, MaRLo, Havana Brown, Savage, Stafford Brothers, Bombs Away, Ruby Rose, Kronic, The Faders, and SCNDL.

Joining forces will see Soapbox Agency have offices in both Sydney and Melbourne, with a roster of artists covering all genres of electronic music.

Trent Grimes, General Manager of Soapbox Artists, said, “This is a big step forward for Soapbox Artists and we are so excited to be joining forces with 360 Agency.

“The combination of our artist rosters and team of expert agents is going to make Soapbox the go-to agency in Australia. We will now be able to deliver an even broader selection of acts to the promoters and venues we work with around Australia and internationally”.

Pete Sofo, Managing Director of 360 Agency, said, “I’m very excited to announce the merger of 360 and Soapbox.

“Over the years Ministry have proven themselves to be a creative, forward thinking company and this new alliance will open doors for our artists both locally and internationally. Tim, Trent and the team have a world of experience and I couldn¹t be more excited for what the future holds.”

Soapbox Artists was formed in 2006 as part of Ministry of Sound Australia with the aim of fostering an ever expanding pool of DJs, artists and musicians.

Since then, Soapbox has worked with some of Australia’s busiest touring DJs and leading dance music exports including Tommy Trash, Melbourne duo SCNDL, Adelaide bounce producer Uberjak’d, and Australia’s #1 trance DJ, MaRLo.

Soapbox has also built a highly successful international touring profile, partnering with record labels and media brands such as Dirtybird, Defected, Ministry of Sound, Dim Mak, Mixmash, MTV and inthemix for sold out tours around the country.

Joining the Soapbox roster under the merger is multi-platinum selling artist Timmy Trumpet; Australia’s #1 DJs in the inthemix Awards for three years running, Stafford Brothers; plus the likes of Brooke Evers, Brooklyn, Feenixpawl, Hook N Sling, Minx and many more.

Soapbox will be helmed by General Manager, Trent Grimes, and Pete Sofo.Music Business Worldwide
