Mike Caren’s APG and Luke Mitzman’s 100 Management strike partnership focusing on music producers and entrepreneurs

Los Angeles-based manager Luke Mitzman (100 Management) and music entrepreneur Mike Caren (Artist Partner and Artist Publishing Group) have entered into a partnership focusing on music producers and entrepreneurs.

According to a press release announcing the partnership, “the boutique will take on a small, select roster of clients that balance creative and business skills”.

The first clients include Cirkut, Stargate and Alex Da Kid.

Grammy award-winning producer Henry Walter aka Cirkut’s hits include Katy Perry’s Dark Horse and Roar, Miley Cyrus’ Wrecking Ball, Flo Rida’s Good Feeling, Maroon 5 & Cardi B’s US No.1 Girls Like You, as well as nine songs on The Weeknd’s Grammy winning Starboy album, including the No.1 Grammy-winning hit Starboy.

Cirkut developed and produced pop star Ava Max (now at nearly 5 billion streams globally) including the breakout hit singles Sweet But Psycho (which went to No.1 in 22 countries).

In 2022 he won a Grammy for his work on Hurricane for the Kanye West, The Weeknd & Lil Baby as well as producing the current singles for Elton John & Brittney Spears Hold Me Closer, Lil Nas X  Star Walkin’ and Sam Smith & Kim Petras Unholy.

Earlier this year Cirkut launched his own publishing company signing Connor McDonough who went on to write and produce Joji’s global smash Glimpse Of Us.

Stargate are Norwegian-born and Los Angeles-based music producers Tor Hermansen and Mikkel Eriksen, who have amassed four Grammy awards (+14 nominations), the ASCAP Songwriter Of The Year award, 40+ Platinum and Multi-Platinum records, and 10 Billboard Hot 100 #1s!

In 2021, Stargate launched the Los Angeles Academy for Artists and Music Production (LAAMP), a year-long intensive music program for up-and-coming writers, artists and producers.

The program is based in downtown Santa Monica, CA and features mentoring from top artists and Stargate collaborators Ne-Yo, Charli XCX, Cirkut, Benny Blanco and Justin Tranter.

Grammy and Emmy-winning producer Alexander Grant (Alex Da Kid) has written and produced songs that have amassed over 31 billion Streams and over 26 billion Youtube views.

Alex Da Kid gained fame after creating songs like Dr. Dre’s I Need a Doctor, B.o.B.’s Airplanes feat. Hayley Williams,and  Eminem and Rihanna’s Love The Way You Lie, while also writing and producing smash hits for the likes of U2, Diddy, and Nicki Minaj, amongst others.

In 2011, Alex founded his record label, KIDinaKORNER and signed Imagine Dragons, writing and producing their 2012 debut album Night Visions which went certified double-platinum in the US, and featured the Grammy-winning hit Radioactive which went 10x platinum, and is the 7th most-purchased single in US history.

In 2020, Alex launched the fashion label _by.ALEXANDER and its debut collection 000 CHANNEL BLACK and his own full-length Jazz album bearing the same name as the collection, including breakout single Trumpets featuring 070 Shake and has recently opened a new concept fashion retail experience in Soho, NYC.
