Middle East label Platinum Records signs distribution deal with ADA

Warner Music Group has agreed a global distribution deal between its own ADA and Dubai-based label Platinum Records.

The agreement arrives after the major label made a move into the Middle Eastern market with the launch of Warner Music Middle East in February.

The ADA deal is Warner’s first regional agreement that will see Platinum Records’ physical and digital releases distributed globally.

It became effective in December with the launch of Platinum Records’ Arabic catalog, as well as the first single ‘Really Good’ from US based artist of Iraqi descent, Julian (pictured).

ADA will also offer support surrounding the release of Moroccan singer Jamila’s upcoming album, Bint Hadidiya, which arrives worldwide on April 10th.

Taymoor Marmarchi, Head of Platinum Records, said: “We are delighted to announce that Platinum Records has signed a global distribution deal with ADA.

“Our hugely popular artists and growing catalog of music and videos will now reach music fans around the world.”
