MelodyVR hires former Shazam exec Miles Lewis as Chief Commercial Officer

MelodyVR has appointed Miles Lewis as Chief Commercial Officer(CCO).

Lewis is a former Senior Vice President International for Shazam, which was bought by Apple for a reported $400m in 2018.

Lewis brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the role having previously held sales and commercial roles with Last.fm, Yahoo and AOL.

In his new role at MelodyVR, he will lead commercial strategy and strategic partnerships, with a key focus on revenue generation and global growth.

MelodyVR has partnerships across the music industry, including major and independent labels, publishers and venues and has teamed up with a huge array of international artists to build the world’s largest library of immersive and interactive virtual reality music experiences.
