World’s Greatest Producers will see us interview some of the global industry’s most respected and successful studio talent. We’ll be speaking to individuals who have imprinted their sonic style on some of the most important records of modern times – and of all times.
The series will be supported by Hipgnosis Songs Fund Ltd, the UK-based company that was established to maximise the value of music… while also proving that value to institutional investors.
World’s Greatest Producers launches as a new strand on MBW, joining our existing interview series including World’s Greatest Songwriters and World’s Greatest Managers.

The first interviewee to be chosen for World’s Greatest Producers is – who else? – Nile Rodgers, who, of course, has played an integral role in making timeless records with the likes of David Bowie, Madonna, Daft Punk, Diana Ross, Sister Sledge and his very own Chic.
