Matador Records expands in UK with three new vacancies

Matador Records, part of the Beggars Group of companies, is expanding in the UK as it invests in new staff.

As you can see on the MBW Jobs Board, the label is currently advertising for three roles in London: Marketing & Creative Manager, Publicist and Label Coordinator/Junior Product Manager.

Founded in 1989 by Chris Lombardi, Matador is home to Queens of the Stone Age, Savages (pictured), Kurt Vile, Car Seat Headrest and many more.

“In advance of an exciting and release-heavy year on the horizon in 2017, we’re excited to be in a position where a large expansion is the next logical step for us,” said Natalie Judge, Matador Records UK General Manager.

“Bringing PR back in-house feels like an important move and expanding the team with a Marketing Manager will give us the opportunity to develop our worldwide strategy, focussing on digital and International.

“Matador is in its 27th year, but we are not joining the 27 Club. We’re very excited about the future and getting a solid team together in London.”

Matador has offices in London, New York and LA.

The company is co-owned by Chris Lombardi, Gerard Cosloy, Patrick Amory and Martin Mills, as part of Beggars.Music Business Worldwide
