Martin Hall’s Hall Or Nothing secures its ‘best-ever UK chart run’ with Manic Street Preachers and The Script hitting No.1

London-based management company Hall Or Nothing has secured two No.1 albums in the Official UK charts in the past month.

Albums from Hall Or Nothing clients Manic Street Preachers and The Script both hit the top of the UK album charts – The Script with Tales From The Script – Greatest Hits on Friday, October 8 and The Manics with The Ultra Vivid Lament on Friday, September 17.

Both records were released via Sony Music labels.

The back-to-back successes toast Hall Or Nothing’s “best-ever UK chart run,” says the company.

For the Manic Street Preachers, it was the Welsh band’s first No.1 UK album in 23 years, picking up 27,000 weekly chart sales. Some 91% of those chart sales came from physical sales, says the Official Charts Company.

The Script, meanwhile, earned their sixth UK number one with Tales From The Script – Greatest Hits, securing the top spot with 23,000 chart sales. Some 87% were physical sales.

Martin Hall, who launched Hall Or Nothing with his late-brother Philip Hall in 1990, also looks after the Isle Of Wight duo Wet Leg, who recently signed to Domino.

Hall currently works alongside his brother, Michael Hall, and Helen Gilliat.
