Magnus Ribbeklint named VP of Marketing, Warner Music Nordics

Magnus Ribbeklint has been named Vice President, Marketing, Warner Music Nordics, a role that he will hold in addition to his existing position as General Manager of Warner Music Sweden.

In both roles, Ribbeklint will report to Jonas Siljemark, President, Warner Music Nordics.

Ribbeklint will be responsible for steering WMG’s marketing strategy across some of the most advanced premium music subscription markets in the world.

He succeeds Mark Fry who was recently named Managing Director of Warner Music Finland.

Jonas Siljemark says: “Magnus is a hugely talented executive who has helped spearhead our success in Sweden in recent years. I’m delighted that he will now take on this additional role, making sure that we are at the cutting edge of music marketing across the Nordics.”

Ribbeklint began his career working in the marketing team at Modern Times Group, a leading international digital entertainment company.

He then served as Marketing Director at Sony Music Sweden, before joining Warner Music Sweden in 2012 as Marketing and Commercial Director.

In 2016, Ribbeklint was appointed to the additional role of General Manager, Warner Music Sweden, overseeing the record company’s activity in the country.Music Business Worldwide
