Madelaine Napoleone joins Warner Music Canada as VP, Marketing

Madelaine Napoleone is joining Warner Music Canada as its VP, Marketing.

She will be based in the company’s Toronto headquarters and reports to Andy West, EVP and General Manager of Warner Music Canada, who took on the role in January.

Napoleone joins Warner Music from Universal Music Canada where she worked for nearly 18 years, most recently as Senior Director of Marketing.

Napoleone has overseen Canadian marketing campaigns for international stars such as Justin Bieber, Machine Gun Kelly, Shawn Mendes and Taylor Swift.

She has also played a key role in building promotions for a number of Universal Music Canada’s domestic artists, including Bülow, Reve and Valley.

Napoleone first joined Universal Music Canada in 2004, when she started as an Electronic Media intern.

 

Napoleone joins a raft of recent new hires at Warner Music Canada.

On 19 May 2022, Julia Hummel was named Vice President, Digital Strategy & Business Development, at the company, with a remit to help the label’s artists leverage opportunities in Web3.

In April, Warner Recorded Music enlisted Linkin Park co-founder Mike Shinoda as Community Innovation Advisor, who will work closely with Warner Music’s leadership and business development teams to help shape what it called at the time its “artist-centric approach to Web3”.
