Kobalt signs US admin deal for John Denver catalogue

Kobalt Music Publishing has signed a publishing administration deal for the catalogue of the late John Denver in the US.

Covering all works, the deal was agreed with Denver’s estate, and marketing and management team. BMG retains the rights to the catalog ex-US.

John Denver’s Greatest Hits has gone 9x platinum in the US alone. The Grammy winner’s career spanned four decades, recording favourites such as Take Me Home Country Roads and Leaving On A Jet Plane.
