Kobalt signs global publishing deal with Latin star Prince Royce

Kobalt​ has signed award-winning, multi-platinum singer/songwriter Prince Royce to a worldwide publishing agreement.

“We are thrilled to welcome superstar singer/songwriter Prince Royce to the Kobalt family. Prince Royce has transcended borders and genres and is positioned to take over the globe,” said Kobalt Music President, Latin America, Nestor Casonu and VP Creative, Latin America, Leslie Ahrens of the deal.

The global deal includes publishing administration for all of Prince Royce’s future works as well as many of his past hits including “Te Me Vas”, “Incondicional”, “Las Cosas Pequeñas” and “Te Perdiste Mi Amor” with Thalia.

The agreement also includes administration of the standout single “Sensualidad” with Bad Bunny and J Balvin, as well as his most recent single, “El Clavo” which is poised to become a smash hit.

Since releasing his triple-platinum, self-titled debut album in 2010, the New York-born singer and songwriter Prince Royce (pictured) has become a Latin music superstar by bringing a mix of Bachata music and contemporary R&B to the Spanish-speaking world as well as releasing English-language hits “Back It Up” feat. Jennifer Lopez and “Stuck On a Feeling” feat. Snoop Dogg.

He has also transitioned to urban Latin music with “Sensualidad” and “El Clavo”.

Some of his other creative collaborations include: Shakira, Selena Gómez, Chris Brown, Pitbull, Maná, Daddy Yankee, among others.

Prince Royce has scored 15 number-one hits collectively on Latin radio charts, won 22 Latin Billboard Awards, 19 Premio Lo Nuestro Awards (Univision), 19 Premios Juventud Awards (Univision), two Latin American Music Awards (Latin AMAs), and earned 11 Latin Grammy nominations.
