Kobalt Music Publishing promotes Amanda Samii to Vice President, Creative

Kobalt Music Publishing has promoted Amanda Samii (pictured) to the position of VP, Creative.

Based in Kobalt’s Los Angeles office, Samii was previously a Senior Director, Creative.

Amanda Samii has been instrumental in signing the likes of Marshmello, who has released collaborations with Selena Gomez, Khalid, Bastille, Migos, Anne-Marie, Logic, James Arthur, and Juicy J among others, earning him over two billion streams to date.

She has also signed writers/producers including Finneas O’Connell, who is behind the success of Billie Eilish, some songs including Ocean Eyes, Lonely ft. Khalid and When The Party’s Over, as well as other notable names including Syd, Rogét Chahayed, Mike Crossey, Michael Matosic, Peter Thomas, and Paul Meany.

Samii joined Kobalt in 2011 as an assistant on the Creative team and has grown her career building strong relationships, signing big talent, and creating valuable opportunities for our clients.
