Killer Mike was one of the stories of this year’s Grammys – winning Best Rap Album, Best Rap Performance, and Best Rap Song thanks to his sixth studio LP, MICHAEL, and the André 3000, Future and Eryn Allen Kane-assisted SCIENTISTS & ENGINEERS.
But three days before the artist’s historic “sweep” of the ceremony’s prestigious Rap categories, he had other things to do: Last Thursday (February 1), Killer Mike joined around 2,000 other hobnobbers at Milk & Honey and Reservoir‘s annual ‘Award Season’ Grammy Week party.
(Reservoir is Killer Mike’s publisher; the artist was joined at ‘Award Season’ by his lawyer, Elliot Resnik, pictured below.)
The party, which took place in a $65 million Bel Air mansion, was attended by other stars including Camila Cabello and Armani White, in addition to an array of top execs from across the US and international music business.
Music Business Worldwide was once again a proud co-sponsor of the event, alongside companies such as Splice, SoundCloud, Mark Music + Media Law, BMI, and Endurance Artist Management at UBS.
Attendees – some of which you can view in the spiffing run of photos below – included the likes of Eliah Seton (CEO, SoundCloud), Golnar Khosrowshai (CEO, Reservoir), Rell Lafargue (COO & President, Reservoir), Donna Caseine (EVP, Reservoir), Mike O’Neill (CEO, BMI), Patrick Moxey (Founder, Ultra Music Publishing), Nat Pastor (Co-CEO, Virgin Music Group), Kakul Srivastava (CEO, Splice), Jamil Davis (Revels Group), Doug Mark and Harry Roberts (Mark Music + Media Law), Brandon Goodman (Best Friends), Jason Boyarski (Boyarski Fritz LLP), Kilo Jalloh & Moe Bah (2K/5K), Mike Steinberg (EVP, BMI), Peter Leathem (CEO, PPL), Jeremy Sirota (CEO, Merlin), and Zach Horowitz (Pitaya Entertainment).
“This year was fun, sequestering our guests up to such a special venue in Bel Air. We will be back for 2025.”
Lucas Keller, Milk & Honey
Lucas Keller, CEO & President, Milk & Honey, said: “10 years of Grammy parties and our second year producing the Award Season event with our good friends at Reservoir. This year was fun, sequestering our guests up to such a special venue in Bel Air. We will be back for 2025.”
Sponsors of the party included Lalo Tequila, Peroni, Caymus Vineyards, Hideout Vodka, Davidoff cigars, Kamiki Whiskey, Lallier Champagne, Health-ade kombucha, MedJet, and Liquid Death.
We spotted plenty of guests – not naming names – indulging in the wares of the Davidoff Cigar Bar and the Caymus Wine Pouring Bar.
