Keith Jopling joins Spotify as Global Head, Strategic Intelligence


Spotify has added another analytical mind to its ranks.

Keith Jopling has joined the streaming company’s London office as its new Global Head,, Strategic Intelligence.

The role will see Jopling (pictured inset) working across strategy, market insights, revenue and content to explore, understand and drive new opportunities for Spotify in a variety of markets and sectors.

He will work closely with Spotify’s Director of Economics, Will Page.

For the past two years, Jopling has been a prominent strategic consultant within the UK music business an beyond – as well as leading the Innovation & Strategy modules for the Henley Business School MBA for the Music & Creative Industries.

Jopling was Research Director of the IFPI for six years until 2006.

He later became a Digital Consultant for EMI and a Development Consultant for UK recorded music trade body the BPI, where he led a variety of commercial and digital development projects.
