Your Army – Digital Marketing & Promotions Manager (US)

Your Army is looking for a passionate professional to join our team as a Digital Marketing and Promotions Manager​ in Los Angeles.

Your Army is a music promotions company with offices in Los Angeles, London and Sydney working with artists such as Major Lazer, Bicep, Sam Smith, Tame Impala, Childish Gambino and Christine and the Queens.

Your Army’s Digital Marketing and Promotions Manager is responsible for executing global digital marketing campaigns that aim to continually identify, develop, and engage an artist and/or brand’s audience in an effort to build revenue streams.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Build innovative campaigns to further our artist and brand’s data capture, sales and advertising goals, and react to social analytics in order to improve the success of these campaigns
  • Be seen as an authority on digital marketing by clients and potential clients by showcasing a comprehensive understanding of digital marketing strategies and trends
  • Measure and offer analysis on monthly growth figures that occur as result of digital marketing efforts and report to clients, the Head of Promotions, and Your Army Directors
  • Working alongside marketing and promo teams to maximise awareness and integrity of artists campaigns
  • Execute creative marketing campaigns that will both identify new audiences and increase current audience engagement
  • Coordinate with marketing teams in various territories on creative concepts for global artist campaigns
  • Manage third-party content developers and creative teams to ensure appropriate campaign assets are delivered in a timely manner
  • Consult on marketing expenditures and manage extensive marketing budgets
  • Continually refine and optimize digital marketing efforts through in-depth analysis and testing of different services
  • Coordinate marketing and promotional initiatives with internal staff, labels, artists, and artist management teams to align and execute on campaign goals
  • Develop and execute content calendars for artists
  • Solidify core service offerings and expand departmental services
  • Help grow and manage digital marketing team
REQUIREMENTS
  •  4+ years experience in digital marketing role
  • Extensive knowledge of the music industry and digital marketing trends
  • Experience managing a team
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Data-driven, analytical approach to marketing and growing audiences
  • Strong understanding of analytics, and how to apply data to test and optimize campaigns
  • Strong presentation skills and comfortability pitching to large groups
  • Deep understanding of culture, digital, music, and marketing in the current age
  • Confident and outgoing with an ability to communicate and deliver well considered and exciting opportunities
  • Goal-oriented self-starter with an entrepreneurial mindset capable of working both independently and as a member of a larger team
  • Passion for and understanding of a broad scope of music
  • Experience with global scale digital marketing campaigns, from development through the execution phase
  • Expert, native user of social media platforms
  • Experience in a sales-oriented role a plus
