WUGD – Community, Audience & Engagement Manager (UK)

WUGD is a recently formed record label launched by artist Jax Jones alongside Universal, who sign and develop multicultural and forward-thinking music, focused on dance music but spanning different genres chosen with taste, integrity and an eye for commercial success.

WUGD are looking for a driven, organised and forward-thinking Audience & Engagement Manager who is passionate about music and social media. They will oversee all online communication, content and digital strategy and help to develop the brand to become an industry leader.

This person must thrive in a high speed, collaborative, creative and entrepreneurial culture, and must be resourceful, proactive and enthusiastic. The role is for a digital native who will create a strategy to build the WUGD community and its position and voice within dance music, both online and offline and will have a vision on how to build and grow an audience for the label.

  • Manage all label channels (inc. Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube, Reddit, Discord) and the website. 
  • Be responsible for the growth strategy of the channels and in turn awareness of the label and its releases, setting out clear objectives and strategy based on the targets. 
  • Create posting plans, and schedule and post social content and updates. Come up with ideas for original content as well as briefing content creators. 
  • Sourcing relevant content to share on the channels.
  • Engage with and manage direct and indirect audiences and community. 
  • Be involved in and at the forefront of online activity and conversations in the dance community.
  • Develop and implement strategy for growing DSP playlists
  • Be reactive to online sub-communities and new technologies.
  • Build relationships within online and offline dance music communities, relevant publications and influencer networks
 Essential Experience/Skills:
  • Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience 
  • Paid Media management experience  
  • Channel Management and digital growth and engagement strategy experience. 
  • Creative and innovative with a portfolio of created assets or implemented digital ideas to show 
  • Writes clear and effective copy 
  • Proven experience of being well organised and reactive. 
  • Passion for dance music.
  • Skilled in the use of photo and video editing software.
  • Website management
  • Email CMS management
