Wixen Music UK Ltd. has a position available for a Royalty Processor. This position is for a fixed contract of a year, which could become permanent depending on performance and the company’s needs.
The successful candidate will be responsible for processing royalties from both publishing and neighbouring rights sources, involving data entry and analysis, title matching, and ad hoc reviews of incoming statements. They will be required to raise inquiries with payors as necessary, including, but not limited to, PRS/MCPS, record labels, worldwide CMOs, and subpublishers. They will need to analyse contracts, in order to obtain adjustments and determine proper collection and payment of royalties.
The applicant must be enthusiastic, with excellent numerical skills. They must be able to work well with others as part of a small team, whilst also possessing the organisational skills required to structure and prioritise their own workload. With data handling forming a significant part of the role, an eye for detail and accuracy is crucial, as are previous experience with Maestro AS400 or similar royalty system, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
