Wixen Music UK Ltd. has a position available for a Client Relations and Neighbouring Rights Administrator. This position is for a fixed contract of a year, which could become permanent depending on performance and the company’s needs.
Central to this position, is a broad spectrum of music publishing and neighbouring rights administrative duties. The successful candidate will also be responsible for client acquisition and retention, developing and nurturing relationships with both potential and existing clients, for creation of long-term value for the company. They will act as the primary contact for collection societies worldwide, ensuring our repertoire is registered and managed correctly. They will liaise with performers, labels and catalogue owners, to gather necessary data, and ensure all possible revenue streams are claimed and collected.
The applicant must be enthusiastic, with excellent verbal and written communication skills, and an ability to adapt to the audience. They should be confident in negotiation and end-to-end closing of deals, and capable of capitalising on opportunities for business growth. They must be able to work well with others as part of a small team, whilst also possessing the organisational skills required to structure and prioritise their own workload. With data handling forming a significant part of the role, an eye for detail and accuracy is crucial, as is proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Prior experience of neighbouring rights and music publishing is preferred, but not essential.
