About Waxlog
Waxlog is an online platform which gives record collectors a new way to explore and share their collections online. Using 3D graphics, it brings the real-world magic of flipping through stacks of vinyl into the digital space. Currently operating as an invite-only beta, we’re building towards our public launch in Summer 2024.
About the position
We’re looking for a skilled and passionate full-stack developer to help us expand and improve existing functionality and build new features requested by our users. You’ll work primarily with Svelte, our frontend framework of choice, and use Go for development of our API.
This is a fixed-term contract position, for 120 hours per month over 3 months, with potential to extend after that time. It’s fully remote, and open to developers located in Europe. There is flexibility on working hours although you’ll be expected to take part in short daily stand-ups via video call.
You’ll be working directly alongside the founder of Waxlog, an experienced full-stack web developer with two decades of experience building online experiences and over 20 international awards, including 3 Webby awards. We also have a small team of talented developers and designers who you’ll collaborate with.
At Waxlog, we believe that combining technical knowledge with unbounded creativity and a keen eye for detail leads to remarkable digital experiences. We’re looking for someone who shares that view.
