To further fuel growth and expansion, we are looking for an experienced Music Specialist to join our growing team.

Responsibilities
  • Join our production team as the musical expert covering our course content, curriculum and user progression
  • Be responsible for curating, scheduling and managing production on a day to day basis in collaboration with the director
  • Prepare shoot briefs and scripts for the production team and VIP guests
  • Collaborate with the video team to achieve the project editorial ambition
  • Research and develop ideas for new filming projects
  • Write scripts in collaboration with well known music artists
  • Attend shoot days and ensure that the filming is in line with the initial outline
  • Occasionally filming offsite, including domestic and international travel
  • Act as a sounding board for the director
  • Troubleshoot problems that arise during production
  • Work with freelancers on agreeing direction of additional shooting requirements
  • Ensure all rights and compliance requirements are met
  • Be accountable for ensuring all necessary rights are acquired for the complete delivery of the production(s), escalating any issues at the earliest stage
  • Making a positive impact on diversity during the course of Production
What we’re looking for
  • A masters in music degree (musicology, composition, performance and technology)
  • 3+ years experience within a music organisation
  • A keen passion for music is essential (electronic music preferred)
  • Experience in media production preferred but not essential
  • Experience in collaborating with VIPs is preferred
  • Strong communication and people skills
  • Flexibility in working hours
  • Ability to approach projects with creative flair
  • Excellent presentation and pitching skills
  • Strong time and resource management skills
  • Proven record of fantastic organisation and planning skills
  • Ability to thrive in fast paced environment
  • Self-motivation and the ability to motivate others
