The A Side: A Day in The Life

Part of the Universal Music Group International Bravado is a fast-growing Music Merchandise company. They acquire and actively promote merchandise rights for UK and International music acts, celebrities and entertainment properties.

Bravado works closely with new and established clients to create innovative products and marketing plans carefully tailored to each artist or brand. Clients include over a hundred music brands such as Kanye West, Spice Girls, Elton John, The Who, The Rolling Stones, Bob Marley, Sex Pistols, Sam Smith, Take That, Skepta and Guns N’ Roses.

Bravado is currently looking for a Product Manager to work across Bravado UK’s music brands. This individual will work closely with our Brand Managers to deliver full-service support in a variety of categories including product development, creative briefing/co-ordination and wider team/client liaison. This person will be integral to the success of our projects and, through impeccable planning, ideation and relationships, will ‘own’ delivery of the tasks from end to end.

The B Side: Skills & Experience

Be Organised

  • Overseeing the supply deal process once new contacts are introduced to the UK or US supply manager
  • Creating internal purchase orders
  • Approvals admin including OPM updates and maintenance
  • Dealing with logistics and shipments for artists and merch
  • Creating overview documents to share with management/Artists
  • Sample processing (sending out, photographing)
  • Managing/updating the licensing and other tracker updates
  • Tracking retail requests once they come off concepts tracker
  • Editing video creative for presentations
  • Researching & writing bio pages & newsletters on artists
  • Researching and presenting potential new Artists

Be Collaborative

  • Support with putting together internal & management presentations
  • Supporting the International teams on the UK Artists (both North America & Rest of the World)
  • Support to the VP A&R/Brand Management
  • Support to UK Brand Managers

Be Creative

  • Creating briefs for designers and managing delivery of the development
  • Working with Brand Managers on all aspects of range and product development
  • Assisting with the creation of brand strategies and style guides
  • Assisting with the creation of pop-up stores
Personal Specification


  • Experience of the music industry and how it works
  • Knowledge of, and interest in, music merchandise and Fashion/The High Street
  • Literate in Microsoft Office programmes (or similar)
  • Digital / Social media experience
  • Enthusiasm, knowledge and passion for all genres of music, past and present
  • Strong appetite to learn, develop and excel within Brand Management
  • Able to form trusting, close and productive relationships with our clients and internal teams. Able to consistently exhibit the upmost respect
  • for our clients while facilitating and achieving the needs of the company
  • Good team player with excellent communication skills
  • A pro-active, diligent, passionate and responsible individual
