HOW WE LEAD:

This position will be responsible for leading efforts to deliver business analytics & reporting capabilities for the UMG Physical Supply Chain Operations group working alongside a community of business and data analysts, data architects and software engineers.

How you’ll CREATE:
  • Develop data analytics & reporting program roadmap for physical supply chain operations group
  • Collaborate with department-level managers to collect and define reporting requirements
  • Conduct workshop with cross-functional teams to design and deliver reports and dashboards
  • Define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), target goals, and how KPIs will be calculated, tracked and visualized
  • Utilize KPI’s to facilitate monthly and quarterly business performance review sessions
  • Prepare ad-hoc reports to provide insights and trends to support operational activities and continuous improvements initiatives
  • Work across technology teams to extract, transform and load data from multiple sources into a common repository for analytics and reporting
  • Perform analysis and validation to ensure quality and accuracy of data
  • Manage testing and implementation of reporting dashboards working with IT and/or external partners
  • Participate in data governance and data privacy committees within the company

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in similar positions
  • Ability to collect, organize, measure and analyze data
  • Experience utilizing reporting software packages like Tableau, Domo, Business Objects, MicroStrategy
  • Knowledge of data integration and data modelling tools
  • Basic understanding of structured sequel language (SQL)
  • Knowledge of supply chain processes (order-to-cash & procure-to-pay) and associated operational models and datasets
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a global workforce environment and across organizational boundaries
  • Strong planning, influencing and negotiation skills
  • Ability to lead small project teams and manage schedules and deliverables
  • Must be results driven, demonstrates adaptability, flexibility, and resourcefulness
  • B.S. in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Sciences or equivalent
