Overview
Toolroom is seeking a dynamic Product Marketing Manager to become an integral part of our expanding Commercial team. We are looking for a House music fanatic with strong digital marketing skills, real creative flair and razor-sharp attention to detail. About us
Toolroom is home to some of the most recognised underground House records with a heritage of over 20 years, releasing music from the likes of Mark Knight, CamelPhat, Fatboy Slim, Weiss, KC Lights, Solardo and many more. The label hosts regular events and festival stages worldwide, as well as having interests across label services, music education, and radio and broadcasting.
Key Responsibilities
- Initiate, plan and coordinate all aspects of Marketing Campaigns for upcoming releases on designated artists and projects.
- Coordinate artist’s / project activities around record releases (press, tools, campaigns, advertising etc).
- Suggest and implement creative marketing on your campaigns and brainstorm and contribute inspiring campaign ideas.
- Conceptualise, brief and coordinate creative marketing content to drive sales and awareness of your releases.
- Ensure campaign assets are procured in a timely fashion – from artwork, DSP/press shots, long and short form video content, DSP assets.
- Create and maintain campaign timelines, briefing teams and sharing release information efficiently.
- Manage third parties for PR, radio etc where necessary, and drive and manage those relationships and campaigns to ensure effective work.
- Analyse and circulate weekly sales information, identifying trends and communicating this to the wider team
- Work with the sales and distribution to coordinate and confirm a strong DSP plan including writing thorough DSP pitching notes
- Create and maintain campaign budgets and release P&Ls.
About You
- At least 1 year’s work experience within a music company
- Passion and knowledge of electronic music, preferably House.
- Have a working, functional knowledge of key artists, record labels and promoters in the House music space
- Highly organised, with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to work within a fast-moving environment
- Be up to date with the latest social media trends, companies and applications
- Be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, along with Google documents and spreadsheets
- A can-do and proactive attitude, and ability to independently find solutions to challenges
- Excellent communication and time management skills
