About the Team:

Our mission is to increase music engagement on TikTok, working in partnership with major and indie label partners, to diversify content and artist pool for editorial, programming and partnership opportunities. We provide guidance and support to our partners around content strategy, sound + artist engagement, platform best practices, editorial opportunities, and off platform programming. We build opportunities and evangelize support for new and existing cross functional efforts to increase engagement with artists and music content to drive and inspire a variety of communities on TikTok to discover what’s next in culture.

The Music team is seeking an enthusiastic Manager to support TikTok’s Latin music strategy. The ideal candidate should be a seasoned professional who is excited by working in fast-paced environments and on multiple projects simultaneously. We are looking for individuals who are resourceful and solution-oriented, bring positivity to the work environment, and are not afraid to attack ambiguous problems. You will be responsible for understanding various tiers of music talent and how they address TikTok’s ecosystem.


– Manage the operational partnership with all day-to-day contacts for multiple record label entities or distributors within the North America market, specializing in Latin repertoire

– Develop, maintain, and manage relationships with XFN teams at TikTok, identifying collaborative opportunities to support team OKRs

– Drive, measure & analyze performance against key engagement metrics

– Cross functionally execute music-partner-related components within strategic TikTok initiatives

– Develop a strategic approach to growing the TikTok community with our partners in collaboration with the broader music and programming teams


– 5+ years of experience in a professional music industry role (label, publisher, management), media/marketing agency or commercial digital music/media platform, ideally in a partner facing or promotional capacity.

– Business proficient in both Spanish and English languages.

– Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with proven ability to take initiative and build strong, productive relationships externally and internally.

– Proven track record of excellence in cultivating partnerships in a fast-paced environment is an absolute must

– A solutions-oriented team player who can lead efforts across music; capable of working calmly and quickly in high-stress environments

– Familiar with using data to produce reports and key learnings based on content performance

– Knowledge of the digital music and content distribution industry

– Must have a strong understanding of TikTok and the types of content on the platform, along with a vast knowledge of music industry trends

– Ability to navigate and execute through ambiguity and drive momentum for new projects and ideas

– Strong computer skills with proficiency in Excel and the ability to learn required business systems

– Passion for pop culture and entertainment
