We are currently looking for enthusiastic and highly motivated Head of Music and Member Events to join our growing team in London.

Music
- Weekly music programme formatting plus planning, and performer communication
- Ensuring the department is present 6 evenings per month to analyse the music and entertainment, particularly for new artists / member events.
- Scouting talent alongside the objective of reducing all Agency cost
- Assisting with auditioning of new bands and developing A&R of in house roster
- Strategising future entertainment
- Performer contracts, confirmations and invoice logging
- Keeping the team abreast of music programmes at competitor venues
- Contracting and advancing headline performances, show day management looking after artist hospitality and ensuring all departments are prepared for the event
- Attending and taking minutes at the weekly music meetings
- Writing and communicating music briefs
- Keeping abreast of music industry in order to produce a relevant programme
- Ensure supervision of headline act rider, green rooms, transport and logistics
- Maintaining internal filing systems (i.e. Headliner list, contact sheets)
- Miscellaneous ad hoc tasks and duties
Member events
- Strategising of future events
- Ideation and execution of kids events and activities including contracting (1 per month+ weekly in Kyubi)
- Managing all member events to ensure their smooth execution (5-6 events per month)
- Preparing function sheets for the floor staff
- Event planning of New Year’s Eve and special occasion events; ticket pricing, managing ticket software, revenue costing sheet, expense sheets, logging and budgeting music, booking entertainment, decorations and production costs.
- Strategising and executing the promotion/marketing of The Arts Club – Sir Karl Jenkins Music Award and Future Sounds Award. Managing submissions and logistics of semi-final and final.
- Co-ordination of flagship events including Halloween, Christmas, New Years’ Eve, Valentines’ Day, The Arts Club-Sir Karl Jenkins Music Award, Frieze (with Director of Art), Summer Party etc
- Compiling and preparing documents and presentations
- Sourcing and booking event suppliers
- Management of event inbox RSVPs and enquiries
- Management of event software ticketing, guest lists, payments, cancellations and refunds
- Keeping abreast of cultural happenings in order to produce a relevant programme
- Updating internal documents (I.e. Speaker lists, band feedback, music meeting notes etc)
- Event logistics and post event follow ups
- Miscellaneous ad hoc tasks and duties
Finance
- Music and member event cost projections and performer fee negotiations
- Member event revenue costing sheets
- Management of ticket software and processing event bills
- Music yearly and monthly budgetary forecasting, cost control and the general accounting for the music and member events
- To aim to achieve the Music target budget cost of the agreed 2% of turnover.
- Raising of POs, invoice logging and submission for payment
- Performer cost projections and performer fee negotiations
Marketing
- Collating copy and images for monthly e-newsletter and marketing collateral including writing copy
- Assisting the Director of Marketing with info to update Instagram accounts
