ABOUT TAG
TAG was started in 2016 by Gabe Saporta as a management company. TAG found early success making and releasing records independently, and began transitioning into a record company in 2019. That transition was cemented last year with the signing of a JV deal with a major. Our approach is reminiscent of the golden era of record making: Sign raw talent, guide, and develop. We take data into consideration, but we are not beholden to it. We are a boutique company that strives to over-index in attention and punch above our weight class. We are about quality and not quantity. And we are made up of a team that cares deeply about what they do, and wants their work to have an impact.
