ABOUT STERN MGMT

We are a boutique music management company working to build sustainable careers and legacies for our artists. We currently manage 8 artists of varying levels and will be expanding aggressively over the coming years.


JOB DESCRIPTION

The Day-to-Day Manager will be available to handle all day-to-day aspects of the Artist. This position requires overseeing both micro details and having a macro understanding of our client’s long-term career goals. The ideal candidate is a creative problem solver who possesses shrewd attention to detail and understands the evolving landscape of the music industry.


POSITION REQUIREMENTS
  • 2-4 years+ in a full-time music industry position
  • Be fully committed to being an enthusiastic, active member of a busy team, willing to live and breathe the client(s) you work with, and do whatever it takes to get the job done
  • Have a genuine interest in music with demonstrable knowledge of music business and artists
  • Have a desire to be a part of growing a young and expanding company

SKILLS
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proactive and intuitive nature with the ability to anticipate needs
  • Strong understanding of digital platforms
  • Personal initiative and a proactive, problem-solving mindset
  • Track record of supporting multiple projects at once with tight deadlines
  • The ability to envision and execute innovative ideas
  • Familiarity with Google Suite

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Logistical support including but not limited to organizing travel, shipments, appointments, rentals
  • Assisting with general + tour marketing across different projects and with asset collation
  • Manage budgets, timelines, and deliverables across all sectors of artist(s) career including, but not limited to, music, touring, brand partnerships, digital, and marketing activations
  • Publishing of content on artist channels
  • Preparing written correspondence and communicating internally and with third parties (labels, booking agents, publishers, etc) as key point of contact, filtering information as needed to the artist manager
  • Liaise with tour manager and crew on logistics and tour planning
  • Handle artist merch across tour merch, online stores and product development
