Songtradr – Social Media Strategist (US)

You’re a highly motivated, creative self-starter with 5+ years Social Media and Marketing experience in the music and media industries. You will be working closely with the Marketing and Creative teams on specific day-to-day deliverables to implement Social Media campaigns. This person will be responsible for coordinating and developing content and story ideas to promote Songtradr’s brands and various products. Creative thinking, strong writing skills, and a good personality are a must!

What You’ll Do

Your role would include, but not be limited to:

  • Collaborate with the creative team to produce engaging copy, images and video content for social media channels and Songtradr’s products
  • Develop and execute strategies with a “wow” factor, and provide solutions for content optimization with the objective to achieve company goals
  • Oversee social media campaigns from creative brief to implementation and delivery for up-to-date content
  • Drive and manage social media community interaction and identify new opportunities for engagement
  • Coordinate and support ambassador, influencer and talent initiatives
  • Network with industry influencers and professionals across social media
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Sales and Product teams to create social ‘buzz’ as needed
  • Analyze outcomes and interpret data for ongoing learning and the long-term needs of the company with recommendations for necessary changes to the marketing plan
  • Facilitate weekly and monthly channel reporting on web traffic and ROI
  • Manage multiple tasks with adaptability, excellent time management, and clear communication with key stakeholders
  • Conduct audience preference, hashtag and engagement group research
  • Stay up-to-date with latest trends, new technologies and developments in the industry
  • Support senior team members as needed
Your Skills & Experience
  • Minimum 5 years Social Media work experience in the music and/or entertainment industries
  • Bachelor’s Degree, Diploma, or Certificate in Digital Media, Communications, Marketing or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Highly creative with demonstrated success in social media strategies, campaigns, execution, and analytics
  • Excellent knowledge of social media best practices
  • Experience crafting stories that build brand affinity and drive traffic
  • Practical knowledge of SEO and web traffic metrics
  • Familiarity with Adobe software particularly Photoshop
  • Excellent understanding of the music industry
  • Outstanding oral, written, and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent initiative, integrity, and professionalism
  • Possess strong work and business ethics (reliable, organized, time management)
  • Photography and videography skills a bonus
