Marketing and Client Relations Manager
A rare opportunity has arisen to join the Soho Production Music team. Based in the heart of London’s Soho, we are an independent, friendly and creative production music library with a colourful and diverse catalogue.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, self motivated, creative individual with excellent interpersonal skills and good attention to detail to drive our business forward. You will take the lead in growing and nurturing our client base through a variety of marketing routes. You will have a background in music with knowledge of a wide range of genres and an interest in sync and music supervision.
Key responsibilities
- Seeking out opportunities to bring new clients to the business and increase website visitors
- Attending relevant industry events across the UK and occasionally abroad
- Hosting and visiting existing and potential clients
- Responding promptly and accurately to client music briefs
- Advising clients on licensing and liaising with the PRS For Music licensing team
- Organising and maintaining a CRM database
- Regularly updating our website with fresh playlists and other interesting content
- Managing the company’s social media channels, creating regular engaging content
- Organising merchandise and marketing ideas
- Promoting new album releases
- Liaising with our international agents and catalogues to provide marketing support
- Providing ideas on music direction to the production team based on client feedback and providing ad hoc support when necessary
Your profile
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to easily build relationships with people from all ages and backgrounds
- Excellent IT skills and experience in using Photoshop (or similar)
- Experience either in a production music company or within the media industry
- Pro active, self motivated and confident with taking ownership of and juggling multiple responsibilities
- Organised with excellent time management, planning skills and attention to detail
- Creative with a good eye for design and the ability to create well-written copy
