Celebrating thirty years in the music business, Silva Screen Music Group is seeking a Licensing / Sync Manager to market its recorded and publishing assets, based in London.
The catalogue ranges from its core repertoire of film and TV music whilst incorporating a wide spectrum of other genres.
Primarily focusing on the UK and Europe, the successful candidate will work closely with the Director of Licensing and Label Heads and will have the following skills:
- At least three years of experience within a record / publishing or clearance company with a strong understanding of rights clearance and negotiation. Knowledge and experience within the branding world an advantage
- Have existing relationships with the ad agencies and supervisors
- Be prepared to coordinate deals outside of office hours with the ability to multi-task, be a team player and attend company events
- Attention to detail with strong organisational and clear communication skills
- Ability to think outside of the box to exploit the music assets
- A sound knowledge and passion for music
- Be prepared to travel
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop an understanding of all content of Silva Screen labels and associated companies repertoire
- Be self motivated and pro-active in expanding existing and new contacts at Ad agencies, with music supervisors within the ad and film / TV world in the UK, Europe and beyond
- Identify other placement opportunities to exploit the assets with video game companies, sampling, toys etc
- Creation of regular concepts to promote the back catalogue
- Work closely with team members to create strategies to maximise income
- Circulate monthly updates to the senior team
- Understanding and suggesting ideas to improve companies masters platform
